Sorry that I have fallen
Things aren’t always what they seem. Situations aren’t always what people make them out to be. People aren’t always as nice or as nasty as they appear to be. Books aren’t always as boring or as interesting as their covers paint them to be. Nice people are sometimes manipulative people. Nasty people are sometimes self-defensive, hurting people. Irritating people are sometimes insecure people. The toughest people who have it all put together are sometimes the ones who are falling mercilessly apart on the inside. Perhaps it is good to let situations play out for a while, before making decisions or sealing the matter. Perhaps I need a lot more patience, and to be a lot less judgmental. Perhaps I need to make a lot more conscious effort to steer away from stereotyping, since a lot of it is implicit and occurring at an unconscious level.
My sanctuary used to be in your arms.
